YOTA launches Youth Innovation Challenge of the Africa Youth Partnership to Advocate an Equitable Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic

YOTA – Youth Opportunity and Transformation in Africa has launched the Youth Innovation Challenge, calling out to young innovators from The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Nigeria to showcase their ideas and proposed solutions for addressing the many challenges posed to the continent, by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Challenge forms part of the activities under the Africa Youth Partnership to Advocate an Equitable Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Youth Innovation Challenge seeks to alleviate the negative consequences of the pandemic on young people and their communities while elevating the ideas, ingenuity, and creativity of young innovators working to address the effects of the global health crisis. Successful applicants that make it through the final stage shall be rewarded with a cash prize of $5,000 USD in support of their COVID-19 recovery ideas and innovations.

Young innovators across these 4 countries, with the zeal for leading the way in continental pandemic recovery efforts, are therefore encouraged to submit their applications by clicking here.
