I am a 25-year-old that believes in making a contribution towards change no matter how small. Policy has always been an interest of mine. I think that they shape our lives in myriad ways.  I liken it to a doctor being able to diagnose health problems and “fixing” them as needed, being in the position to influence policy means that you get to affect lives in one way or the other.

I have worked as a physical planner where I was involved in ensuring that developers adhered to land use and spatial planning guidelines. I have also volunteered in an exciting role that involved gender and social entrepreneurship where I conducted country-context gender research and analysis. I have engaged young girls under a project that was meant to ensure that these girls had very wholesome experiences moving into the world well equipped to thrive. More recently, I have been involved in research, evaluation, and learning experience.

I have a degree in development planning and currently working towards another in development policy and planning. I enjoy research, and issues relating to gender and social inclusion. I love facilitation and the opportunity to work with vulnerable populations.
