The Liberia Youth Task Team Realeases a Policy Brief on the Provision of Technical and Vocational Education and Training for the Marginalized

The Liberia Youth Task Team of the Africa Youth Partnership for an Equitable Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic has embarked on campaigns to address many thematic areas that have borne the brunt of the COVID-19. Among these have been their advocacy for the passage of the Amended Law of the Liberian Control Drugs and Substances Act of 2014, Increased access to loans, grants and finances for youth led businesses and start-ups and the inclusion of the marginalized (At-Risk Youths, Visually Impaired and Physically Challenged) groups In Technical and Vocational Education and Training.

In the bid to accomplish the latter, the Liberia Youth Task Team has put together a Policy Brief that uncovers the gaps in the provision of TVET for the marginalized Liberian, highlight the measures that have been put in place to foster inclusivity, and how far government and stakeholders have gone in achieving this. Finally, The Policy Brief tackles the challenges faced and provides feasible recommendations and solutions.

It is an undeniable fact that Technical  and Vocational Education and Training is an instrumental pathway to economic empowerment and a viable form of economic survival for the youth. It’s time to throw your support behind this worthy cause.
