LIBERIA

I am Rob Wellington N. Sonkarlay, a native-born Liberian, born into the union of Mr. John Y. Sonkarlay and Miss. Patience S. Vaye on April 5, 1997. I was raised in my native home town Tappita, Nimba County.

I began my primary education at the Mutual Dominion Institute in Johnson street, Monrovia, Liberia in 2004. I later moved to Tappita Nimba County where I lived with my Grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe G. Mendon. While in Tappita, I got enrolled in Christian High school from 2005-2016 where I got myself engaged in so many academic activities such as quizzing and debates and also played some sports (soccer and volleyball). In 2015/2016 year, I graduated from the Christian High school as one of the outstanding students academically with an average of 91.0.

Today I am a graduate of the William V. S Tubman University with a bachelor of science degree in Biology (Honor: Cum luade). As a young visionary and innovative person, it is my dream to pursue higher education in medicine with a specialization in Cardiothoracic surgery. A field that will help me to make a very great impact in my country Liberia and the world at large as we work harder to improve the health care delivery system of Liberia.
