GHANA

Richael Naa Abea Aryeh is a Research and Administrative Assistant at the University of Ghana’s Centre for Latin American Studies. Richael recently earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Ghana.

She is passionate about leadership and has served on many levels at the university as a student leader. She previously served as General Secretary of Amnesty International’s University of Ghana chapter in 2018 and as General Secretary of the School of Modern Languages’ Spanish Section in 2019. In 2020, Richael ran for the Junior Common Room General Secretary seat at Alexander Adum Kwapong Hall (JCR).

In 2022, she received the Mckinsey Company Forward Africa Leadership, Foundation Level Award for her achievements during her years of service. Richael has been a member of Rotary Club International and a volunteer at the Youth Network for Human Rights and Democracy since 2022.

She has an interest in volunteerism, humanitarian assistance, advocacy, health, and well-being. Richael has been accepted into the Frederiech Ebert Stifung’s Young Leaders Program for 2022.
