Phil Eke-Okocha is the Content and Training Officer of the Local Pathways Fellowship at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth initiative. He is also a former Fellow at Rondine Cittadella della Pace, where he works with young people from conflict and post-conflict countries to bring about ways of sustainable conflict transformation.
In this role, he mentored and onboarded the junior fellows while connecting with different stakeholders. He also handled partnerships and public relations, drafted modules on peace promotion and conflict management, and trained junior fellows, among other responsibilities. He is now a member of the Rondine International Pace Lab (RIPL) and other organizations such as Earth Charter International and Global Ambassador at Theirworld. Phil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and development studies and a Masters’s degree in Conflict Management and Humanitarian Action from the University of Siena.
Phil has been involved in various projects to raise awareness and promote understanding of the SDGs, peace, global citizenship, education, and engaging youth in volunteering and community development projects. He is also a researcher passionate about climate conflict nexus, migration, peacebuilding, humanitarian action, and food security.
