NIGERIA

I’m Okeke Makuochukwu from Nigeria and a software engineering student at the African Leadership University, Rwanda. My mission is to use technology to bring a disruptive impact on the world through my passion for governance, climate change, and entrepreneurship in order to ensure a progressive, peaceful, and sustainable society.

My passion for building a peaceful and sustainable society started in high school. As the leader of the Ambassador’s club in my school, I wrote several articles on academic excellence, peace, discipline and ethics – three of which were published in the school’s termly magazine. Our vision is to create awareness of the societal challenges existing beyond school life and prepare the students to drive the needed change when they are exposed to the world.

After high school, I interned as a student-teacher where I tutored grade ten students. I worked together with professional educators in learning organizational and communication skills. Now, as a growing software engineer and ethical leader, I have continued taking action and refining my mission connecting with other passionate leaders, innovators, and changemakers across the globe.
