SIERRA LEONE
Nyamakoro Marrah is a 20-year-old Law Student at Fouray Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. She is a young leader and youth activist with a wealth of experience in advocacy and in championing the course of young people at both local and international levels.
Nyamakoro is a writer who concentrates her writing on contemporary issues. She is an artistic performer with skills in media related engagements, including radio talk shows and documentaries.
In Sierra Leone, she has had professional engagements with several organisations in the recent past like Amnesty International, Sierra Leone Children’s Forum Network, Girl Child Network, Legal Links, and the Kono Children’s Education Foundation. Her maxim “youthfulness is next to usefulness” resonates with her young campaigner enthusiasm and always dares to set herself apart by leading by example for other young compatriots!
