Ntende Beka Isabirye is a 28-year-old youth leader and a YALI East graduate from Uganda. Since 2014, he has volunteered with a number of local and international organizations including Restless Development Uganda, Irise International, Dance4life among others on programs aimed at generation of active Citizenship, promotion of Youth & women economic empowerment and advocating for access to quality education for youth in his local community.

He is currently the team leader at ICT4Education, an initiative that is using a mobile computer lab to address the existing knowledge gap in computer literacy among learners from Rural schools in Eastern Uganda. Through delivering practical computer sessions to teachers and learners in the rural schools, this initiative aims to enable all stakeholders involved to explore and experience ICT’s potential to shape the future of Education and promote academic excellence through research and innovation.

Beka is a passionate young leader that wants to make a difference for the young people in Uganda through his work on Youth and women empowerment projects.
