I am called Masika Mercy Masitula. I am done with my bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science at Uganda Christian University waiting for graduation come this July 2022. I am passionate about leadership, entrepreneurship, and health. I therefore maximize the opportunities I get to make sure I inspire fellow youths in these aspects of life.

I have been a guild member of parliament for the faculty of health sciences for the year 2020-2021 and this has helped shape my communication and advocacy skills. I own a small-scale poultry and piggery farm.

I love impacting other youths with skills and knowledge as well as learning from them. I have a self-driven individual and one who loves working with a given team towards achieving a good cause. I hope to add my best as a member of the Youth task team in Uganda as well as learn what I may not know.

My message to my fellow youth is a quote from Mahatma Gandhi saying “ You must be the change you want to see in the world” It is my desire that all youths live their lives with purpose knowing that all actions come with consequences and we are the drivers of the change we want to see.
