 I feel the idea I have can help reduce the wastage that usually results when perishable foods are in surplus, especially tomatoes. I am to use a natural foaming agent to greatly reduce the moisture content in the tomato and reduce them to powdered form which can be reconstituted, when need be, to full tomato soup.
Tomato is a very perishable crop with a very short shelf life as you are familiar with and the cost of further processing into the desired end product adds further to the overall expense. However, if you could process fresh tomatoes from the farm into ready-to-go tomato powder in only an hour, it would really go a long way in providing sustainable wealth and job opportunities.
This Is where my idea comes to play as it will help both big companies and medium enterprises process the gift of nature called tomato. I hope to be considered. Thank you.
