Hannah Aba Yankson is a young, determined Sierra Leonean lady who believes in hard work and perseverance. She is currently pursuing a degree in Mass Communication at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

She completed her Diploma programme with the same institution in 2020. Hannah is a TV presenter at the Africa Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) in Freetown Sierra Leone. She is a red-carpet host and has hosted numerous red-carpet events both in the capital of Freetown and the provincial areas. She is also an influencer and master-of-ceremonies (MC) and has had a taste of several high-profile events organised by the central government and private organisations; including INGOs.

Furthermore, Hannah is a script writer and a feminist. She was the second runner’s-up of the Face of Plan International in Sierra Leone in 2017.

As a young lady, she has strived for success and believes in contributing to the development of society. To her, “life is not all about the glitters or the money you have achieved but, it is about how many lives you have created a positive impact on and how you have glittered their world.”
