TANZANIA

Gloria Rwegoshora holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Dodoma. In 2021, she joined Tanganyika Christian Refugees Services – TCRS organization in Shinyanga region where she volunteered as Projects Coordinator and performed different roles including training youth on sexual and reproductive health, providing psycho-social support to them and increasing young girls’ awareness about their rights.

Thereafter, in January 2022, Gloria got employed by the organization Awakening Horn for Inclusive Rural Development – AHIRD based in Mwanza region, working as the
Project Officer dealing with socio-economic empowerment and inclusion of marginalized rural women, young girls, and children.

Through her current position, she is serving youth groups for their sustainable development so that they may be productive and useful for the country development.

As COVID-19 has devastated the youth, joining Youth Task Team is a chance for Gloria to use widely her skills to restore their hopes as an experienced and proactive
social worker.
