THE GAMBIA

Fatou Konteh is a born and raised Gambian with a passion for helping in developing her country. Ms. Fatou acquired a bachelor’s degree in political science. She previously worked as a consultant in ACE Consultancy and is currently an Office Administrator at HELP GAMBIA a non-governmental organization.

She had the privilege to serve as a member of the Students for liberty as well as a certificate for the Red Cross Society in The Gambia.

Working with an organization called the Information Technology Association of The Gambia, Fatou has had the chance to organize events/training for young entrepreneurs both in tech and in the logistics sector. These include open innovation events as well as digital literacy training for university students. Fatou has represented the organization as a focal person in the digital literacy policy review with the ministry of information and communications and is also a committee member for the National technical and vocational education and training with the ministry of higher education in The Gambia.

She also took part in the DECAF field research on The Gambia’s security sector reform in 2019.
