Effiong David Etim is an energetic, and strategic leader who balances a practical view of competing for development interests with a passion for health technology and innovation. He enjoys working in teams to design novel ideas for health technological issues.

He is experienced in team management, project design, and implementation.
David is a Pharmacy student from the University of Calabar. He is an emerging global health innovator with winning ideas that led to his emergence as FIRST PLACE winner of several Innovation competitions, notably The PharmaLedger, International Pharmaceutical Students federation INNOV8 Competition on blockchain technology, The International Pharmaceutical Federation (IPSF), International Pharmaceutical Students Federation(FIP), Pan American(PARO) and African Region(AfRO) Innovation competition on maternal healthcare.

He is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), African Youth Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), United Nations Millennium Alumni’21, and a graduate of the Global health emerging leaders programme (GHELP’21). He is a servant leader having served in several portfolios both in his Faculty and the Student Union Government, University of Calabar.

What makes him stand out from his peers is his ability to effectively engage and interest a great cross-section of individuals in health technology and innovation through building solid relationships and human-centered design thinking.
