Edwina Bimpong was born in Accra, raised in Dansoman, and currently resides in Kasoa. She hails from the Eastern Region’s Kwahu- Oboe. She studied General Arts at the Methodist girls’ high school and is currently a level 300 Political Science and Philosophy major student at the University of Ghana.
She enrolled in the Soronko Academy’s 6-week course in programming languages CSS and C++, as well as Computer Basics and Canva. As a virtual assistant, she has completed a Cyber Security and Criminal law certificate from Mastercard and Leo Cussen.
Edwina considers being the 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency under the United Nations Youth Association Ghana’s Youth in Parliament Initiative to be the most thrilling of her accomplishments. She believes that leadership is a strong instrument and that being given the opportunity to lead excites her. She is able to work with individuals from many walks of life and races, is a good listener, and considers the opinions of others. She is deontological as well as utilitarian.
She enjoys watching movies and listening to music because she believes that these two mediums stick with the mind better. You would love to get to know Edwina Bimpong.
