BRIEF OF SUBMITTED SOLUTION

The impacts of COVID-19 is greatly felt by everybody across the world. In most cases, the impact is high on the rural poor, students, youth, employed, unemployed, single and young teenage mothers across the world. Most of these categories of people are individuals with little or no skills that makes them self-employed for income generation. Therefore, our proposed solution or idea is to do training for project beneficiaries in beekeeping for honey production and packaging. The trained beneficiaries will be equipped with beekeeping equipment and setup to start bee farming to produce. The produced honey will be bought from the trained beneficiaries by our company for processing into honey products (bread, biscuit, toffee, syrup) and supply to our customers. Also, the raw honey will be sold to food processing, beverage production, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics production companies. This is to ensure a ready market for our trainees to help their production.
