Daniel Abalansa Achaab is a writer and researcher currently pursuing a postgraduate programme at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center. His dissertation for a Master of Arts Degree in Conflict, Peace, and Security examined street vendor perceptions towards COVID-19-related conspiracy theories, and how that can lead to vaccination attitudes and unintended human security outcomes.

Achaab aspires to have relevant work in an area dedicated to the elimination of all forms of human-security-related threats. He believes the civic engagement of the youth is a viable means for checking inequality. In effect, he has decided to dedicate his time and efforts to serving on the Youth Task Teams of the Africa Youth Partnership to Advocate an Equitable Recovery from the Global COVID-19 Pandemic.
