Sharon Stella Musonza is a 26-year-old enthusiast of youth participation in development processes. Starting her advocacy at the age of 15, Musonza is a former junior member of parliament of Zimbabwe and is currently a member of the Zimbabwe Youth Policy Tracking Group with the Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC).
She comes with 3 years of experience working with a wealth of national, regional, and international development actors/organisations getting the youth’s voice into the “development agenda”.
Her activism has bordered around promoting active citizenship in youths, youth and gender mainstreaming, development research, policy tracking & influencing, and promoting health-seeking behaviour in youth mainly in the field of SRHR.
Musonza holds BSc in Development Studies and an MSc in Health Economics and also holds professional courses that support her work. She has served on a couple of boards and has received a couple of awards and recognition for her work on a number of platforms.
