Benson Onyango is a youth advocate with over 5 years of experience in delivering youth-centered projects. He volunteered with Restless Development as a Volunteer Team Leader, worked as a Project Assistant at Action For Fundamental Change and Development, and as a Youth Review Panelist at Global Youth Mobilization.

He is the founder of Jeneration Agenda, a youth-led organization that empowers young leaders in leadership, entrepreneurship, employment, livelihoods and health. Through his organization, he has mentored over 20 young leaders to implement mini-projects and supported over 300 adolescent girls to access re-usable sanitary pads during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is time for young people to gain courage and challenge convention by facing issues that affect them, advocating for better alternatives, and participating in the leadership of their communities.
