THE GAMBIA
Rene Moses Ceesay is from The Gambia, West Africa. He lives in Lamin, The Gambia. He is a filmmaker and a photographer, and the Media Director of Starfish International, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance humanity through girls’ education and provides international service-learning opportunities in The Gambia, West Africa.
Rene Moses earned his Diploma in Business Management at The Association of Business Executives (ABE, UK).
Over the past 8 years, Rene has been serving his community by mentoring 130 high students every year at Starfish International.
During his creative journey, he has created and produced films and videos on COVID-19 awareness, gender-based violence, female genital mutilation/cutting, and promoting peace and education within our different ethnic groups and communities in The Gambia.
He is an expert in graphic design, and photo, and film editing.
He loves capturing stories through videos and photographs, service projects, playing Xbox with family and friends, and fundraising to provide high school fees and University fees for the Starfish students and mentors.
